Para netizen menilai Iis Dahlia tak seharusnya menghina dan mengusir seorang peserta audisi KDI hanya karena ia tidak berdandan.Seperti dilansir dari tribunnews.com (24/7/2018), menanggapi hal tersebut, penyanyi Anji pun akhirnya ikut angkat bicara. Anji sendiri mengaku pada awalnya juga sempat menyayangkan sikap Iis Dahlia yang berkomentar pedas kepada seorang peserta dan malah langsung mengusirnya hanya karena si peserta tampil apa adanya. Bagaimana kamu mengemas dirimu dan lain-lain. itu nilai bagusnya," ungkap Anji.
Meski begitu, ada bagian yang sangat disayangkan oleh Anji dalam video viral itu. Menurut Anji, seharusnya peserta diberi kesempatan dulu untuk menunjukkan kebolehannya bernyanyi sebelum diminta untuk keluar. "Tapi yang sangat saya sayangkan, kalau saja di situ, si peserta boleh bernyanyi dulu, setelah bernyanyi, lalu dia diminta untuk mengganti pakaiannya dan make up itu pasti akan oke. Persoalannya di sini adalah dia belum bernyanyi sama sekali, lalu diminta untuk keluar, mengganti baju atau make up," ujar Anji menyayangkan.
Dalam vlog nya, Anji juga sempat mewawancarai Iis Dahlia terkait video yang sudah jadi viral tersebut. Dalam penjelasannya, Iis Dahlia mengaku sangat menyayangkan sikap orang-orang terutama netizen yang seolah ingin berkedudukan seperti Tuhan Yang Maha Benar. "Makanya gini ya, Nji, lu juga, netizen-netizen. Apalagi nih ya neizen itu kayaknya, kedudukannya pengen kayak Tuhan. Sejajar sama Tuhan. Apa yang dia omong bener gitu ya. Kalau nonton sesuatu itu, jangan langsung ditelen-telen. Tonton secara utuh tayangannya," ujar Iis Dahlia.
Iis Dahlia juga merasa apa yang dilakukannya adalah hal yang wajar di industri hiburan, di mana layaknya iklan, acara tersebut tentunya ingin menunjukkan sesuatu yang menarik perhatian masyarakat.
